CALENDAR

2 Nov 2008: end of 2008 sailing season.

12 November - John Laing lifted out of the water

22-23 November - refit volunteers' weekend

13-14 December - refit volunteers' weekend

23 December - last working day before Christmas

5 January - first working day back

17-18 January - refit volunteers' weekend

7-8 February - shorebased training weekend

14-15 February - refit volunteers' weekend

20-22 March 2009: shakedown voyage.

23 March 2009: first full voyage of 2009 sailing season.

19-24 April: training voyage for new prospective volunteers. Priority bookings for those who have helped at refit or been involved with OYT South in other ways.

24-26 April: training weekend for bosuns, thrid mates and less experienced second mates.

27 April: John Laing maintenance day, Southampton - help needed, call skipper on 07771 771864 if you can come along.
