Partnerships

MAKE A DONATION - 94.2% of our expenditure in 2006-7 went on the direct delivery of our charitable services.

OYT South works in partnership with other charities, offering voyages to the young people with whom they work, but also running joint fundraising events.

CHASE Children’s Hospice, Guildford, has worked with us since 2003, when OYT South and John Laing helped with the cross-Channel leg of a 2,000 mile sponsored journey from Edinburgh to Tangiers. This was being undertaken by Surrey and England cricketer, Adam Hollioake, to raise money for a new hospice centre in memory of his brother, Ben.

In 2004, CHASE Children’s Hospice was the partner for OYT South’s first annual fundraising dinner.

In 2005, the annual dinner had two partners, as CHASE was joined by Naomi House Children’s Hospice, Winchester.

John Laing is a fantastic asset and OYT South is always happy to discuss ways in which the boat might be used for sponsored events or publicity for joint fundraising events with other charities. Contact the office.
