MAKE A DONATION - 94.2% of our expenditure in 2006-7 went on the direct delivery of our charitable services.

If you would like to make a donation to OYT South, here’s what your money could buy:

£2 million – replacement vessel when John Laing reaches the end of her useful life
£7,200 – full cost of a five-day voyage for a group of twelve deserving crew members
£3,600 – cost payable by group for a five-day voyage for twelve crew members (50% of true cost)
£5,300 – tenting and scaffolding for winter refit
£3,000 – vessel storage ashore during the winter to enable refit
£3,100 – annual lift out of the water, hull scrub, masts out
£2,000 – annual life raft service
£1,000 – paint, brushes and rollers
£1,000 – new charts and navigational publications for a season
£600 – full cost of a five day voyage for one deserving crew member
£500 – replacement distress flares
£500 – personal protective gear for refit helpers
£400 – replacements for ship’s medical kit
£300 – cost payable by crew member for a five-day voyage (50% of true cost)
